Winter Swing

Family Friends no time for any

Student Loans can’t save a penny

Winter times, mood swings

Mind is filled negative things

Little sunlight shorter days

Damn my heart yearns for May

Emotions riding a roller coaster

Cold Hot been through a toaster

Worrying about so many things

New job, more work mood swings

Gotta keep focused keep going

Ya bro is watching sees ya growing

Stronger each day feel him near

I see the light my mind is clear

My bro, “Life can be short, live each day”

He says”take some time, for you I pray”

The Tired Man

Although I am so tired
Mind runs it is wired
If only I could get sleep
Can’t even count sheep 
There is so much on the mind
Oh bed please be kind
Let me get some rest
Like a bird in its nest
My affinity for my bed
I fall and hit my head
So tired there is no pain
Rest, recovery for my brain

Missing You

I feel him near

His Sounds I Hear

Thoughts of my brother

We comfort one another

Asleep dreaming, goodnight

Stress is on us

I don’t know why

Lying in bed eyes cry

What’s going through my head

Feelings emotions easily read

Why is there so much stress

All I want to do is rid of this mess

No, I didn’t create this

All I am is Chris

Go to work 12 hours a day

Can’t deal all I do is pay

When your ready do your part

how it should be from the start

money is not all I care for

paying your loans im poor
